what is the difference between regular, plus, premium, and diesel fuel?

Report as

he difference is regular is about 87 octane, plus is 89 octane and premium is 92 octane, diesel is refined at different temps and is different because of its chemical make up as well as how its used to power an engine, because it ignites under much higher compression than the relatively low compression of a car engine.thus giving it a lot of torque.

regular is just regular. plus and premium help your engine run smoother i think. and diesel is for trucks.

The difference in regular, plus, diesel and premium fuel is the chemical composition in the fuels. Some fuels are smooth than others, offering lubricity, better ignition quality and less pollution. They also differ in cost.

Price is the biggest difference especially in gasoline and unless u nave a car that requires it there is not really a need except your ego.

The more expensive the better for your engine in the long run. Just no AmPm gas, shell or chevron are the best seriously!
