Can I sue without receipts?

My scumbag nyc landlord hired a moving company to go into my home and take my property (everything i own) ...they stole my jewelery, clothing and damaged a lot of my furniture and belongings. i want to sue this company for authorization in the home and my property....however i do not have receipts for a lot of my things and if i did it would be in my home which they invaded. how can i sue without receipts? landlord didn't have a court order but he did have a marshal, all debts was paid to him 2 weeks prior yet he told the judge he didn't receive my money. i never received a marshals notice and i need justice asap!

yes you can because they dont have a right to just enter your home like that. it like if an offficer enters your home without a warrant
