Is mcdonalds different in the us compared to the uk?

i understand that the menu will be different, but will the the actual sandwiches, portions, atmosphere etc be the same?

Yes, in the UK you have to pay for ketchup packets! Everything else was pretty much the same.

Other than minor differences due to the location(country) McD's is nearly the same globally. Other than some local sandwiches catering to local tastes, they are nearly all the same. Bon Appetite! ;)

It's cheap junk over here, is it cheap junk over there? I know the McDonalds in Salzburg served beer, so you may have a few menu differences. Also if the UK has stricter food quality and health regulations, you're probably in for a disappointment.
