Why do cats like mice?
Just want o know
They chase them for the kill. I had a cat that chased squirrels up palm trees, would catch and kill one then drop them at the front door.
They are attracted to any small moving animal even toys and strings as you know.
i think they like them because there something to chase
Housecats are designed to be the ultimate mouse hunter. Their noses are calibrated to smell out a mouse, mouse droppings and mouse urine. Their eyes are designed to spot the quick rapid movement mice make. Their ears are particularly attuned to catching the barely audible mouse squeak. Their claws and teeth are perfectly sized to catch and kill a mouse quickly, and their biology and metabolism are designed to survive on eating a whole mouse a day.
They like anything that moves!!!!
They taste good
Because they are cute and cuddly and taste like chicken :)
They like them because they are smaller than the cat; A cat can kill mice with no injury most the time.
