Will usps knock on my door or will they just leave my package in my front door?

I ordered a game from gamestop...Now i got an email from usps that says "out for delivery" ive been waiting ever since 10:40..It is now 4:03..Idk if usps is probably sending it to my apartment mailbox but anyway...If they come to deliver,it to me personally..Will they knock on my door or will they leave the package in front of my door?

If it's USPS, then usually they will put it in your mailbox if it can fit (unless it's something you need to sign for).
If it doesn't fit, then most likely they will ring your door and walk away. Or maybe since you live in an apartment, they will take it to the main office of where you live.

I bought a game from Amazon once and it did not require a signature.

Depends on if signature is needed or not.

They always knock & leave it at the door step, unless it needs a signature, then they'll knock, if no answer, take it and leave you a note letting you know an attempt was made for delivery. If that happens, you'll have to pick it up or schedule another delivery day.
