Home Remedies for Mice

Do sticky mouse traps work? I'm getting NO WHERE with traps!! Help please... this little guy is making me gitter and on edge. I know it's silly, but I've got 2 kids and I'm not keen on mouse poop! Thanks everyone for reading my post and any suggestions (aside from the sticky traps) are GREATLY appreciated!

Agree, with pickledeggs, a CAT, simple, easy, mice can't stand them and they dispose of the evidence.

i dont know what a sticky trap is, but i found that when my house had a few mice in it after i got back from vacation, a large bucket, with a narrow stick and peanut butter slathered in the middle of the stick would catch em, my uncle suggested putting water in the bucket , to drown them, but honestly i didnt, i just drove out 5 or so miles out of town and dropped em off the side of the road.

Get snapping traps and put peanut butter on em...or just stomp on the squirt next time you see it...

Yes the sticky traps work, just don't get one stuck on you feet! when I lived In Florida (after hurricane Andrew), rats were everywhere. I got a whole family on a sticky trap. They were stuck there for over a week. OK this is gross...they all started chewing on each other. I grabbed a dustpan and garbage bag and doubled back them..it was the grossest!

he likes to play with them first. He flips them In the air, he makes wild sounds at them, let's them get away a little then he gets em again. Last time this went on a 5 am. I am party pooper, soon after that it goes in a bag and I throw it in the woods! good luck

They have traps out now that are not lethal to the little cuties. They go in one side of it and you release them from the other side. not sure what they're called but you can find them at Lowes.

Yes ma'am I can't wait to try the sticky traps and though this is a mouse not a rat (I get goose bumps thinking you went through that!!). I will be very careful of the kids too. Thanks so much!!

sticky traps can be a mess with children around - but use them - but i would get poison boxes and put on top of fridge and behind the vent cover under front of fridge ! i have never been whooped by mice ! the nasty little varmins ! you got to also have nothing 4 them to eat - put all cereal and such in cheap plastic containers ! good luck ! by the way i am a MAN ! alva is my middle ****

i wouldn't use a sticky trap its cruel and unsanitary , just maybe call your local pest control and talk to them about humane traps....or get a cat haha...mine got rid of our mice problem.
