Is the inverted cross evil or good?

Well I know in the bible Peter chose to be crucified upside down because he didn't feel like he was worthy to die the same way as the lord, and it's carved on the back of the popes chair. If it is a sign of good, then why is it used in culture and in horror movies to represent the devil?

Its an insult to Jesus , Peter was hung and crucified upside down on the cross because he thought himself not as good as Jesus but the cross was up right if its inverted its of a evil thought

The peter on the inverted cross is just a catholic thing anyhow. Its not in the Bible. Maybe in one of the fake, made up cathoiluc books but not in the true Bible. Of course if he was nartyed on a cross he was executed head up on a normal cross because thats how the romans did it. They couldnt care less about Christs followers and would have laughed themselves silly at a moronic request to be executed upside down.

Neither-- It's just a symbol, like any other.

The inverted cross is not evil, it is a symbol of Peter and a reminder of our unworthiness in comparison to Jesus. It is only recently being used by satanist as a symbol of Satan but it is really quite insulting and blasphemous to the catholic church to use it in such a way.

ONLY the catholics hold on to that foolish belief. Its not in the real bible and pretty much everyone else sees it as and evil symbol, anti-God/anti-Christ. But then you people believe poor, screwed up Peter was a pope too (whatEVER) and that a woman dead two thousand years has the same abilities as Christ to hear and answer prayer. Thats why few outside the catholuc church really consuder catholucs christians. Too many unbiblical teachings.

Who cares a fig if the catholuc church and catholics consider it blasphemy against the catholic church by the way. The catholic church isnt holy. No more than any other human religion. It cant really BE blasphemed. The only true blasphemy possible is against God.

Christians don't worship Peter. The cross meant the difference between death and salvation. I don't care what anyone tries to tell people, its Satan showing his hatred because he was defeated.

In modern days it has become a symbol of satan and evil because it inverts the holy cross. In long past hustory it was (and still is) a sacred symbol called Peters Cross because Peter (the catholucs wringheadedly call him thier first pope) supposedly was martyred on an inverted cross because he didnt feel 'worthy' to die the same way as Christ. Which is stupid because that was a common method of execution used by the Romans. Lots of people died on crosses. Peters Cross is purely a catholic tradition and has nothing to do with the Bible. With the possible exception of the catholics Christians and many others view the inverted cross as a satanic symbol, a mark of the anti-christ.

Catholics have created this whole mythos around poor screwed up peter made up by imaginative popes that has no basis in the true bible.
