If the running surface of the flywheel is faulty, this could cause a wide variety of problems, but leading to binding bearing in the flywheel would be a rare occurrence. An outer or inner race defect is one major cause of this kind of a problem.
SO Many possibilities. Could be the way it was reinstalled. Could have been a defective bearing right out of the box. Could have been a re used bearing that in the process of being reinstalled got whacked enough to ruin it. Could be a bearing race installed wrong. so many things, it can't be analyzed over the ASK screen.
