I love being single & I'm not lonely. Singleness allows you to become your true self. The only limits you place on yourself are those that you are comfortable with. There's no bathroom queue, no one to leave the toilet seat up, the cap off the toothpaste or other daily annoyances. When you want company you go out with friends. When you want Devoted love you cuddle your dog. Single life allows you a freedom to be you everyday in every way & never have to act differently just because someone else wants you too. Rejoice in your singleness while you have it.
I was very content living with my husband. Although I have missed him greatly, since he passed away, I am content to live alone as well. I don't have a personality that demands the company of others. I suppose I'm adaptable, to whatever situation I choose to be in, alone or in a relationship.
I was single for many years before I was married. I have a sister who is still unmarried. She sometimes asks me what it is like to be married. My advice is to enjoy the freedom that being single brings. Once you marry or enter into a serious relationship there are many responsibilities that come along with it. My husband's mother was old and started having strokes around the time we were first married. We were responsible for her care. There are certain things that are expected by your spouse once you marry. I always hated it when the first thing my husband would say after coming home was "What's for dinner?" As a single person I never thought about what I would have for dinner. As a single person, you don't have to consult another person before buying something, you just do as you wish. I find marriage to be hard work, a series of compromises for both people.
Yeah. It's fine. I've been single for the last three years and I didn't have any problem with it. You don't have to be in a relationship in order for you to be happy. I've been busy working in order to help my parents and that's what makes me happy. There's a right time for everything.:)
Yeah! I've been single for about five years, and if I find someone I'll be lucky. :) Sometimes it's a good thing to be single. You don't need a boyfriend or a girlfriend to make your life perfect. Just be happy with your relationship status.
