What is the best way to do fine hair?

I have fine or "thin" hair. I want to know the best way to style it.

You could tease it a little bit to make it look thicker. You could do like french braids, curls, or even crimped your hair could make it look thick:)

I'm not too worried about making it look thick, because oddly, it doesn't look flat or thin. It's just, I don't want to kill it too much. Thank you

Oh I see, then you could like curl it with sponge rollers or crimp it by braiding it instead of using a flat iron or a crimper

wash it and then like scuch it with a towel

I have very fine hair, won't hold a curle n i get tired of the same old hanging straight down. It's all in the cut. You could have it layered or have it cut where it curves in toward your face.

Depends on your hair type; mine is baby-fine straight. Chin & shoulder length styles, with short razor cut layers beneath, work great by creating volume & fullness. Despite marketing advice, do not goop up fine hair with lots of styling product - esp hair spray. It clumps & glues your hair together & weighs it down. Just work in a small amount of gel around the crown of your head - no lower than the top of your ears. Create lift & volume using a large round/oval brush; dryer set on low. Again, working above your ears, only. Do not over-dry. Hair should be left slightly damp & flexible when done. Otherwise you will have a flyaway mess. Follow these steps & the rest of your hair will fall into place nicely. Wait before brushing/combing, hair needs to set a few minutes. Then, flip the ends with the brush, if you like. More importantly - DO NOT use hairspray - your fine hair will go flat & you will lose all the nice fullness you just created. Got this advice from a stylist years ago & it never fails to work perfectly. Whatever I've tried, style-wise, I always end up going back to this method. Have fun!

Go to a good hairstylist. Ask around to see who has a good following, even if you have to save up for the visit. It'll be worth it in the long run!
