Should I buy an Ipad2 or another type of tablet to replace my stolen laptop?

It depends, an ipad2 doesn't exactly replace a laptop. It's still difficult because you have no real keyboard or track pad/mouse

Well first you need to get some insurance then iPad 2

iPad also does not play flash video. Some iPads require u to have a service plan for Internet service

i would get anew laptop, because i pads aare NOT worth it (they are bigger and stupider)

a laptop sometimes ipad2 just don't work and a good ipad2 is can be more expensive trust me an ipad2 is 2 fragile. get a laptop

It depends. Since you are looking for something portable, I'd say go ahead and get the iPad 2. But the iPad 2 is bigger than some laptops, and if you are only looking for a small little thing to carry around to surf the web, I'd say get one of those small Acer laptops. They are useful, and can do just about the same things an iPad can do. It's up to you

An iPad is not the same as a laptop. It does not have a hard drive. Therefore you cannot do tasks such as word processing and data manipulation. The iPad is great for email and surfing the net. That being said, I LOVE my iPad!

If you need to do some business applications, and not just surf and watch movies, then I suggest you take a look at the new Think Pad Tablet by Lenovo. It has a keyboard folio case that gives you a handy option to the virtual keyboard. It also offers a means for handling MS Office docs. It also has a few ports, and a docking station. It's worth checking out.
