Ask your parents to get you a couple containers that fit under your bed. You can store hobby items, games, extra clothes, etc. I have a 4 year old and we have an organizer with small and large plastic bins that I labeled (he reads me the letters) that works pretty well but we still needed a small container each for all the trains and track. He has done really well picking up toys when he is done with them.Hope these suggestions help.

If you just care what your room looks like to visitors and don't mind your drawers being messy, you can just throw everything you use on a daily basis into one big drawer (i.e. scissors, pens, eyeglass cleaner, rubber bands, nail clippers), stuff you might use once or twice a week in another drawer, then go through the rest of your stuff and pick out the things you will probably not even look at for at least a year, throw them in a big box and put it in the basement. Then somehow organize the rest of your miscellaneous items and toss them into a few more drawers. It helps if your drawers are within arm's reach of where you sit most often in your room, that way it is always easy to put anything back where you got it.
what helped me alot is giving myself time to put everything away at the moment. for example clothes... when u come home from school or work, give urself time to put it away where it goes. Same for the shoes. If you at least do ur bed the room wont look so dirty. after u do ur bed u start to notice all the other things that dont belong. Im a virgo so im naturatly a clean and organizor freak but for anyone else who doesnt clean this tip helps.
Hang up clean clothes on hangers and store in your closet; dirty clothes put in a hamper, don't just leave them on the bed or on the floor. Have storage bins to store items. Put your bed on risers and then use containers to store seasonal items. Slide those containers under your bed. Throw away trash. Go thru your drawers and throw away mismatched socks, worn out underwear and clean out the wardrobe once in a while. If you haven't worn it in over a year, donate good unused items to Goodwill. Oh, and dust your bedroom furniture and wooden floors or vacuum your carpet at least once a week. If you do this faithfully, it shouldn't take you no more than 30 minutes to completely clean your room.
An easy way to keep it clean with out haveing to work hard is by clea ing it once really good. Then once you have it cleaned up just keep up with your messes. For example in the morning when u wake up make your bed. Another example if u eay in your room instead of leaveing your dishes next to you take them to the kitchen or if you are geting dress make sure when your dressed put what you aren't wearing bak and your dirty clothes in a landry hamper. Don't let all the mess pill up keep up with it and just take care of it as you go.
you should make sure if you have any thing put it in the proper place it goes if you have some thing you don't won't just though it away and don't bring food mess objects in your room and if you have a brother or sister and your own room lock you room for safeties :)
i will clean my room every day and make sure that it is in the right spot i will explain how i will clean bey puting the dirty stuff in a big black bag puting all the bears in the closet that is a example how i will clean up
After you initially clean it, never go to bed with anything out of place. Don't say "oh, I'll pick up my dirty clothes in the morning", do it right away. The old saying "never put off till tomorrow what you can do today" really works!
