Most folks who go to family court over these type of issues don't use a lawyer because of the cost. You can go down to your family court yourself and fill out the paperwork to get a hearing on visitation. They probably have something like a "help desk" with people there to help you fill them out if you need it. You'll need your ex's address. There's a small filing fee you'll have to pay. They'll schedule a hearing for you and both you and your ex will be notified by mail when it is. Dress nice and be on time.

Your welcome. There's really nothing to the paperwork, it's easy stuff. Good Luck.

You could slowly start getting a relationship back with your ex. To let you see your son again

Do you have a custody agreement? You should have gotten one when you divorced? If it states that you have parental rights to him than he has to allow you to see him on the arranged dates. If you don’t have a custody agreement than you defiantly need to seek out a lawyer who will tack your case pro bono (for no pay) you may be surprises by how many there are who deal with this exact case all the time. But if you signed over your parental rights or were deemed an un-fit parent than that’s a whole different ball park. I hope things work out and that you can see your son soon. :)
