Can someone explain WHY HNO3 + H2O ---> H3O + NO3?
My teacher was pretty bad last year... she would get off track so many times and would let us skip certain problems because she didn't teach it. I don't have any notes on how this equation happens - could somebody help me and explain WHY it becomes H3O + NO3? Like, explain if they exchanged ions or something, and just... please teach me, haha.
Thank you for using time to answer!
