Does the catholic church consider cutting pages out of the bible a sin?

There are some parts of it that I don't believe in and I am not going to worship the false parts of it.

Why take anything out? It says 2 timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and is useful in teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. Mark 8:34 "if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will surely lose it, but whoever loses his life will surely save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? What can a man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Fathers glory with the holy angels.Revelations22:19 and if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city;which are described in this book.

There are things in new testament that weren't written by what I consider prophets and are invalid and not the words of god.

Well, you take one Word out, you might as well just make your own god. I assume its cause of the topics of today?

It isn't considered a sin, but is sure not right. What do you see false in the Bible?

Not believing in something doesn't mean you have to cut it up and throw it in the trash... Those immoral acts are something that aren't practiced today by Christians and are parables, lessons, and teachings of Christ. Don't insult me...

I suggest you join a church more in tune with what you DO believe in, rather than destroying something that someone else might believe in. And no, I'm not a catholic.

Just because someone believes something, doesn't make it sacred to you. It's nonsense.

Well that's true, but would you destroy a family album because you hated a person in the family tree?

I can't join a church more in tune with what I believe because that would be a synague and I'm not jewish. I think I spelled it wrong.

You can't just cut out pages and that's not part of the religion anymore. It's still there. This is nonsense. You just don't believe.

Whatever you disagree with, just ignore. Or for that matter, just do whatever makes you feel like a productive member of society. Who cares, right??

Maybe just put a paper clip on those pages, then you will know not to read those pages. In stead of cutting them out.

I wouldnt be the least bit surprused. They are very much into icon worship and believe quite a few inanimate objects are or can be imbued with 'magical' powers. Wouldnt be at all surprised if they threatened to excommunicate you for it. And if you are talking about the catholic bible there are false books. All the appocryphal books were written by loyal catholics either by order of or as a way to kiss up to whomever the current pope was. Get a real Bible and you can easily see which are the false books.

You don't worship the Bible and there are no false parts to it. BULLDOZIER already quoted the verse that said God spoke all the words, but had people write it for him. Yes, omitting biblical passages is a sin because you are ignoring things that God has commanded or made a law.

Uhm... Probably? I ripped a page out of a Bible.. (I don't believe in any if it though >.>) and before anyone tells me I'm going down stairs or anything the page just needed a tug to come loose. But.. That's just me :/ not that it helps cx
