I'm a teen, i want to go to africa and help.. But i don't wanna wait to long, what can i do? I don't have enough money :(

Yeah they already have quite a few people over there,like really rich people so it's going to be hard to get a spot I'm sorry girly

No no it is scary and all te stuff but i think is worth to try.. My hopes are really high.. I'm starting to think that's a bad thing:(

Awwww thank you I'll tell her. Ahhh I'm sorry about spidey:( she was from the wild though. You could always get one that's tame at a pet store:) I had a mantis and the same thing happend to mine. They just get really stressed out and die

Church missionaries that travel there.Getting involved in researching as many missionaries as you can&write letters to them explaining your desire to want to go.
Maybe also try getting a penpal of some sort(that is positive role model)&communicating your desire to want to know more about where you want to go.I'm sure there's alot you should think about before considering making your dream come true.Such as customs,language,passport,what kind of shots you may need to protect you from poss diseases in another country,ect.Above all need a custodial consent as well.Also a chapperoine.That is familiar with country,customs,ect.

Look in your local yellow pages for churches.Also if you hAve Internet accesibility.Look up your local churches&call or write explaining your desires&im sure you will find a church to offer you direction on how you can help reach out to those in Africa

You don't really need to go to help the need you can send them a box of Food and water or a letters or you can ask people for there old shoes that they don't use anymore and you can send them to the kids over there it's way cheaper then going I sent 5 boxs of shoes each had 200 inside :) and it feels good to help the people in need

Well, you can help raise awareness about what's going on in Africa. But I think that you can also help people living in your community. It's very commendable that you want to help Africa, but there are also people in your town who could use your help like feeding the homeless or becoming a mentor (or big sister) to a kid who needs someone to look up to. There are so many people who need help these days.
