What could be the cause of a burning sensation in my heel?

when i kick my shoes off after work and lay down on the couch ( or bed) to watch tv or read, my right heel has this burning sensation that makes me constantly have to move my leg or foot....very annoying...could it be because i'm on my feet all day..if so why don't both heels feel the same? is there something i can use to STOP it because i can't settle down and relax....

Hmmm, my best guess is that it's either your Achilles tendon, or you have bone spurs. Although, if it was your Achilles tendon, it would probably be hurting all day, and not just after walking on it for a long time. I would go to a doctor and get it checked out. Hope this helps!

You might need an Iron supplement to make your legs less restless. Also, try not to lock your knees while standing.

It sounds like it could be Plantar fasciitis. A good thing to so is place a water bottle in the freezer and roll it with your foot back and forth on the floor.
