Do dogs forget their parents and siblings?

I have a year old dog that i adopted from her parents and siblings and she hates other dogs. Every time she sees another dog, she growls and barks a lot at it. She's not friendly at all with other dogs and I want her to get along with other dogs so I was thinking to bring her to see her parents and other siblings to see if that would help her get along with other dogs but I don't know if she is going to be the same way with her parents and siblings as she is with other dogs so I'm just wondering if dogs remember their parents and other siblings and do you think it will help her get along with other dogs if she sees her parents and other siblings?

It depends on at what age they are separated from them at. If they are young pups then they most likely will forget but may recognize the scent of relatives but if they are older like about a year old they most likely will remember their family fully. But with the not being friendly with other dogs thing bringing her to her family will do nothing for that sorry. You should get a professional trainer to help desensitize her to other dogs. But once a dog shows aggression to other dogs you can’t really ever fully trust them again with other dogs when she is with other dogs you will need to monitor her the whole time. I hope this helps. :)

When digs sniff other dogs' butts, they learn the smell of that dog. Since your dog was born with them and had to have smelled there butts many times, he/she will get along with the parents and siblings.so NO dogs DON'T forget

Yes, however their sense of smell is so great perhaps they detect a familiarity with old relatives.
