Is brie cheese better served warm or cold?
It is usually served at room temperature, but it is really really good if you bake it a short time with raspberry or apricot preserves and some chopped walnuts or hazelnuts on top. Then serve it on good bread or crackers. It's awesome!
I think what the poster MEANT to say was is Brie supposed to be served warm exclusively?
The traditional way is to serve it slightly warmed so the center is just a little gooey and spread on with a knife or spoon. My children, on the other hand, prefer it chilled hard. Blech!
I like it just slightly warmed maybe even just at room temp. I think you will just have to try it both ways for yourself and decide what you prefer.
I like it melted slightly. That's the traditional way. ( are you the stubborn cousin? ; )
