It may be hard to do without a curling iron, but you could try just scrunching your hair when it's wet and put hair gel or spray in. Just don't use too much. This should make your hair wavyish/curlish.

Use curlers! You just leave them in for a couple of hours, or while you sleep, and when you take them out your hair will be curly!

Wash your hair, brush through it, put in a lazy bun and sleep.
or
wash and brush, then put in braids and sleep.

I love to scrunch my hair with mousse. Personally, I love using TRESemmé because it smells fantastic. Other good brands are Garnier, Aussie, and herbal essence. Be prepared to have crunchy hair though. Here's what you do. Take a shower or make your hair wet. Shake the mousse bottle and get some on your hand. Get a portion of your hair and use the mousse on it, pushing it upwards, making it wavy. Repeat :)
Another thing that you can do is take a shower at night and use leave in curlers. I used to do that all the time when I didn't have a curling iron or want or straightener. Hope this helped.

If you don't have the money/transportation to get to the pharmacy and buy those curlers....my grandma (God rest her soul) used to use rags as curlers. Just find some old t-shirt and cut it up into 4" strips about 1" wide...maybe try a couple days before school...at night, wet your hair, section off small areas and twist your hair into a spiral and then start from the end and roll up to your head, tie the strip of cloth "rag" and proceed to the rest of your hair. It really does work!

You can use a straightener but with heat protection spray for your hair If you don't want to burn your hair. Or you can braid your hair after you take a shower but don't dry your hair. Braid your hair wet. Hope that helped.

Wet your hair section your hair and twist it around until it is in a coil form. Pin the coil down repeat with each section. Leave in overnight or until dry.
