What are the best remedies for nausea?

I get nauseated a lot due to my anxiety, but what are some really good remedies to relieve nausea. I've tried things like ginger ale, Nauzene medicine, antihistamines, sea bands, TUMS antacids calcium, etc.. What helps you when you get the queasy stomach? Any advice or suggestions?

I've had a lot of nausea problems in the past due to nervousness. Unfortunately I found out that most of the effective helps are fattening, but chicken soup helps. I get some won ton soup when not feeling well and it does help. Either that or make it yourself. The medicines all have some bad side effects, but possibly the best one is Pepto Bismol, recommended by a doctor. Antacids are really not the healthiest thing to keep taking. They block the enzymes that heal infections.

I think you should talk to your parents and go see a doctor. It will save you a lot of unneccessary trouble.

If its due to anxiety then you need to get the anxiety treated. The nausea is just a symptom. Talk to your doc about anti-anxiety meds.

Nausea is in the mind, not the stomach, take some xophran if you have it, or phenergen, those are the two best, if you are actually vomiting ,and not just nauseated, take and ice cube and ice your tongue, it slows the blood flow to your tongue and make you vomit less.

Traditional Medicinals makes a tea called Easy Now and can be found it many grocery stores including Target Superstores and Kroger. The tea will help you relax and it will help with the nausea.

If you are treating the nausea you are treating the symptom and not the cause. You need to treat the cause, and yes that means you anxiety level. You could learn relaxation breathing techniques.

This may not be as helpful during the day, but at night, you could try taking Dramamine. it will help the nausea, and it can make you drowsy which can help you fall asleep if your anxiety bothers you at bedtime.
Otherwise, prescriptions like (from best to worst in my opinion) Zofran (generic: ondansetron), Compazine, Phenergan, and Reglan. However, the best cure will be dealing with whatever is causing your anxiety.
