How go you make your hair 'Poker Straight" with out using so much heat?

I think Poker straight hair is so pretty, but my hair is fizzy, curly, and wavy. Have any idea's that's don't have to deal with so much heat, and expensive products?

Is that stuff expensive? were do you get it at?

they do it in a salon and it depends on where you go... if you live near a beauty school they will do it real cheap (but they are still learning) but they wont kill your hair they know enough not to do that and the one near me they cut your hair for $2

You can get heat protecting spray or get your hair "relaxed" at a hair salon.

What dose it mean to get your hair relaxed at the hair salon?

it's like a "reverse perm" Just go in and ask them about it. It basically makes your hair permanently straight (at least for quite a while) but it can be expensive.

I had a friend who would roll her hair on old orange juice concentrate cans. Look for large rollers (2 inches or more diameter) and roll your hair.
