what's the difference between motive and intent
A motive is why a person acts. The intent is the purpose he wishes to accomplish.(In law intent refers to the state of someone's mind at the time of committing an offence.)
Motive is a reason to do something, and intent is a seriousness (Ex. he stared intently at the TV).
Motive is the reason why you do something. Intent is having the intention or idea of doing it.
