what sickness do i have? how do i get over it?

i hate myyself wen i eat alot so i run alot to tryy to burn it off and i always count my calories and only limit myself to 1500 i dont like being like this anymore because i hurt myself running and i always starve because i already ate the calories how do i get help?

It's a type of eating disorder. I would say anorexia because you're not allowing yourself the proper amount of calories that you need when you are exercising that much. It becomes bulimia when you work out so much that you throw up.

Talk to someone you love about this and see what they can do to help you. I used to be bulimic and when my parents found out they were very loving and supportive. Ask your parents about seeing a therapist or go to your school counselor. .

As with any eating disorder, you probably have BDS (Body dysmorphic syndrome) Where you see yourself to be less attractive or more overweight than you really are. Just remember that people around you are not judging you as much as you think they are, especially not the ones that you should care about. Stay positive and work out less. Start eating more and allow yourself to enjoy it. STOP dieting. If you gain weight, don't punish yourself, just improve in a healthy way.

If you are under 18, talk to your parents and have them take you to a doctor. If you are over 18, schedule an appointment with your doctor yourself. You need to start treatment FAST before it's too late, so please don't hesitate!

okay so, first of all, do NOT eat 1500 calories a day only unless you're short and skinny. I believe the calorie count for average heighted people is 2000. Second of all, I tried running and all it does is make you out of breath. I ran two days and I gave up lol. After that, I bought myself a bike (a legit one, not one from the gym or anything), and bike every day for half an hour. Biking is WAY better for me because -- I get toned legs WAY faster than I would ever if i ran, I lose weight a hell lot faster, my metabolism goes up, and so does my stamina than it would ever by running. And trust me, it takes days to lose weight, so don't get discouraged. Just think of how beautiful and toned you will be by the end!!

PS- if you chew gum while working out, you get less sweaty and tired and you can work out two times longer than normal since gum gives you fresh, minty breath and also, you need to keep your mouth closed while working out, and only breath through your nose!!
