Im going into foster care. what are my rights? do i have any?

This is my 2nd time going into foster care and i want to know my rights. Im only 13 and my brother just turned 13 also hes younger though. i was wondering what my rights are. i was living with my aunt and uncle but they dont want us anymore so theyre giving us back. also when i turn 16 can i be emancipated while in the foster care system. Any other comments or anything i would greatly appreciate.

Honestly not very much because my dad was supposed to lose custody of me and they had someone explain what happens if I had to go to foster care and basically you can do everything that you could do when you had a guardian or whoever takes care of you except that you really don't get to make any choices of where you go or who takes care of you but you didn't really lose any besides that other people make your choices but I hope everything goes better for you soon and the only way to get rid of a person is being abused or mistreated

Some of the rights you have as a child in foster care include: to live in a safe house, practice your own plans, to be free from abuse and to list your personal rights among others. You have the right of consulting a lawyer and attend all the court proceedings. You need to talk to a lawyer for assistance. See http://www.fosteringperspectives.org/fp_vol4no2/my_rights_as_a_child.htm for reference.
