Protein shake before or after cardio?

I'm doing hell week soccer and its intense! so I'm wondering would it help me recover we run in the morning and afternoon so what's the best

BEFORE BEFORE BEFORE.
Using protein before any workout means when you start working it that protein is ready to go and repair muscle immediately. It forces your body to use ALL the protein, if you wait until after, your body doesn't use all that protein. Eventually you'll just end up pissing away most/all the proteins and the $30-90 spent on the protein itself, IF you consistently drink the protein after workouts, cardio, etc.
ALWAYS drink the protein within an hour before any workout, via a glass of milk, or a shake mix. Just keep in mind the limit of scoops of protein you can use in one day, as prescribed on the protein container.

Most athletes/ bodybuilders do shakes after workout. Some people do before. Preference. They will help repair muscle. I do it after. Good luck!
