I find it amazing that if a man kills an infant, and then asks for repentance, he could go to the Christian heaven. However, since the infant was never baptised, it is destined for eternity in hell.. and if you believe in the "innocence" of infants, what if it were a muslim or buddhist that was killed? One life is worth more than another?
^^^^ everyone is correct on their answers when you repent or ask God for forgiveness for your sins it is very well known that he shall forgive. In the bible it says God is a forgiving God our God is like no other take this information and go in peace man :)

Sins are forgiven only when and if the sinner 'repents' for their sins .. We are human .. and we are never without sin or the ability to sin .. as hard as we try (some of course, try harder than others) but we are weak and we fail ... throughout the course of our lifetime.
Keep in mind .. when the time comes .. you will be judged. "Books will be opened' .. someone is keeping track.
If God didn't forgive sinners for their sins .. heaven would be empty.

No. I no longer live for Christ lives in me. You can't sin, then ask forgiveness then keep doing it. Pick up your cross daily Jesus says. These things you do, should happen less and less. If I said sorry for something I did to you, then continued to do the thing I said sorry for...You think I was serious about saying sorry? Or are my actions telling you I really didn't care, I wasn't really sorry? True repentance, true on being sorry. Now, that doesn't mean you can be perfect. We all sin. You are not showing true repentance and that you are really sorry if you continue. You are just trying to have your cake and eat it to. God sees the heart, you can't lie to Him. Be honest, pray and ask for strength and wisdom. God says He never gives us more then we can handle, always leaves a way out. Next time, you need to make right choice. Think about it, be honest with yourself and God.
Yes of course! :) That is a really, really great question.
The great news about Jesus can bring forgiveness to anyone. The blood of Jesus is enough to wipe away even the worst of sins. If you are someone who trusts in Jesus Christ, then there is now no condemnation from God - he has forgiven you (Romans 8:1). The Bible is full of people who have done all sorts of really horrible things (adulterers, prostitutes, murderers, extortionists), but who are accepted by Jesus (e.g. John 4:1-26; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Luke 23:32-43). Even the apostle Paul (who was one of Christianity’s earliest and most ardent supporters) was someone who was responsible for violent persecution of Christians before he encountered Jesus (Acts 8:1-3) - yet Jesus fully forgave him. It doesn't matter what you have done - Jesus can bring you forgiveness.
First of all Revere God don't spell his name with a small G he is King of Kings Lord of Lords Jesus was asked how many times to forgive someone that has hurt you he said seven times they said seven times he said even 7 times 70
" even though I used to scoff at the name of Christ, I hunted down his people, harming them in every way I could. But God had mercy on me because I didn't know what I was doing, for I didn't know Christ at that time." (1Timothy 1:4) Living Bible [ But when he was shown the right way by The Lord, he did not hold back from following it.]. If we keep doing something that we know is wrong and still do it. That is different, God does not forgive until that person quits doing it. " But those who keep on sinning are against God, for every sin is done against the will of God," ( 1John 3:4) Living Bible. "But if you keep on sinning, it shows that you belong to Satan, who since he first began to sin has kept steadily at it. But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the devil." ( 1 John 3:8) Living Bible How forceful this is! Those who deliberately choose a course of sin, making a practice of it, are viewed by God as criminals. The course they have chosen is the one that Satan himself first took. They are not forgiven unless they turn around from doing these things.
God will forgive you if you truly ask for forgiveness and want never to do it again. Even if you slip up and do it again, as long as you are absolutely sorry that you did it, and ask for the help or strength to not do it again you will be forgiven by God.
Matthew 6:14,15 tells us: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you; whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This shows that Jehovah will forgive us if we are truly repentant. We also need to remember to forgive others, because that is a reflection of our Creator.
Also, Matthew 6:12 mentions part of the Lord's Prayer, where it says "forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
