Will god forgive me if I sin no matter how many times ?

I find it amazing that if a man kills an infant, and then asks for repentance, he could go to the Christian heaven. However, since the infant was never baptised, it is destined for eternity in hell.. and if you believe in the "innocence" of infants, what if it were a muslim or buddhist that was killed? One life is worth more than another?

Not all Christians think that way. It is frustrating though, when oversimplify things like that.

Children can't make the choice to be saved until they're older. And the Muslim and Buddhist could have been saved.

If you repent and atone for them, YES :)
Feel free to ask for it if you need more clarification.

yes, if you didn't sin, you just made an innocent man die torturously on a cross for nothing, you'd be quite an a**hole ;D

It is the belief that if you repent you sins, that God will forgive all sins.

God will forgive all sins, you just have to recognize them, and repent. God sent his Son Jesus to die on the cross for everyone's sins.

Sins are forgiven only when and if the sinner 'repents' for their sins .. We are human .. and we are never without sin or the ability to sin .. as hard as we try (some of course, try harder than others) but we are weak and we fail ... throughout the course of our lifetime.

Keep in mind .. when the time comes .. you will be judged. "Books will be opened' .. someone is keeping track.

If God didn't forgive sinners for their sins .. heaven would be empty.

Yes he will. Repent and you will be forgiven. But that doesn't give you the right to go around killing and stealing.

Don't think that I'm one of those people who say "you can sin as much as you like, because God forgives everyone!"
I read your answer and i know that i can't sin and then ask for forgiveness and then keep doing it. But God will forgive you each time if you're really sorry and you mean to not do it again. Right?

ya, thats were I was getting at

No. I no longer live for Christ lives in me. You can't sin, then ask forgiveness then keep doing it. Pick up your cross daily Jesus says. These things you do, should happen less and less. If I said sorry for something I did to you, then continued to do the thing I said sorry for...You think I was serious about saying sorry? Or are my actions telling you I really didn't care, I wasn't really sorry? True repentance, true on being sorry. Now, that doesn't mean you can be perfect. We all sin. You are not showing true repentance and that you are really sorry if you continue. You are just trying to have your cake and eat it to. God sees the heart, you can't lie to Him. Be honest, pray and ask for strength and wisdom. God says He never gives us more then we can handle, always leaves a way out. Next time, you need to make right choice. Think about it, be honest with yourself and God.

There is a limit to man's repentance. There does not appear to be a limit to God's forgiveness. I worry more about your ability to genuinely repent, then I do about Gods ability to genuinely forgive.

Yes of course! :) That is a really, really great question.

The great news about Jesus can bring forgiveness to anyone. The blood of Jesus is enough to wipe away even the worst of sins. If you are someone who trusts in Jesus Christ, then there is now no condemnation from God - he has forgiven you (Romans 8:1). The Bible is full of people who have done all sorts of really horrible things (adulterers, prostitutes, murderers, extortionists), but who are accepted by Jesus (e.g. John 4:1-26; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Luke 23:32-43). Even the apostle Paul (who was one of Christianity’s earliest and most ardent supporters) was someone who was responsible for violent persecution of Christians before he encountered Jesus (Acts 8:1-3) - yet Jesus fully forgave him. It doesn't matter what you have done - Jesus can bring you forgiveness.

Yes, we're human, we sin, as long as you ask for sincere forgiveness, you're fine

Yes, but it needs to be bottom line repentance or you will do it again. If you didn't mean it, then you do it again.

You have to be penitent and ask him for forgiveness with each sin you commit.

" even though I used to scoff at the name of Christ, I hunted down his people, harming them in every way I could. But God had mercy on me because I didn't know what I was doing, for I didn't know Christ at that time." (1Timothy 1:4) Living Bible
[ But when he was shown the right way by The Lord, he did not hold back from following it.]. If we keep doing something that we know is wrong and still do it. That is different, God does not forgive until that person quits doing it. " But those who keep on sinning are against God, for every sin is done against the will of God," ( 1John 3:4)
Living Bible. "But if you keep on sinning, it shows that you belong to Satan, who since he first began to sin has kept steadily at it. But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the devil." ( 1 John 3:8) Living Bible
How forceful this is! Those who deliberately choose a course of sin, making a practice of it, are viewed by God as criminals. The course they have chosen is the one that Satan himself first took. They are not forgiven unless they turn around from doing these things.

God will forgive you if you truly ask for forgiveness and want never to do it again. Even if you slip up and do it again, as long as you are absolutely sorry that you did it, and ask for the help or strength to not do it again you will be forgiven by God.

Matthew 6:14,15 tells us: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you; whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This shows that Jehovah will forgive us if we are truly repentant. We also need to remember to forgive others, because that is a reflection of our Creator.

Also, Matthew 6:12 mentions part of the Lord's Prayer, where it says "forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."

Hope I helped :)
