I think it's because it's wonderful to know you might be (or if you get feedback for sure) that you're helping people. That's one of my biggest wishes in the world is to help people...one of my biggest satisfactions ever.
It's a worldwide community. Someone, somewhere around the world is typing here asking stuff and you're able to talk to them and help out OR not. Doesn't get anymore real and easy to get to know other people than that.
Well it does, in the real world, but to some people the real world just sucks.
Because, you have all of these questions stuck in your mind, and you want to share them with real people online, without bugging your friends and there are questions that you want to answer too! Then people follow you! That's when you get hooked! Your one of the awesomest people i know! I LOVE nnarwhals I mean the sad thing is, some people don't know what they are when you ask them.
its more comical.. than.. well the sunday comics the naivety and ignorance is just over(under)whelming
on rare occasion, there is an actual question or answer that is helpful.. ok not so much helpful.. but is intriguing
there are a couple that i banter with.. in moments.. but this really isnt a real place for that even.. not compared to my "real" friends/contacts
some of the responses (esp re religion/faith) make me disappointed (not "in" but "for" people). with so many that have their "stake in the ground" and have so much ignorance and lack of perspective.. makes me very sad for them.
It gives you a good feeling in helping a person out with their question or just to know what other's opinions are to try and help you out with your problems in the questions you've asked for help with. Also for how you can make some awesome fantastic friends from this remarkably wonderful website.
