Husband and wife have been living separate under same roof, now want to file for divorce, how long do I wait until divorce is final.

A marriage divorce might take as long as 2 to 3 years depending on the circumstances leading to the divorce and law procedures. Normally a ruling is made after 6 months from when a spouse gets the divorce petition. After this the couple is issued with a waiting period determined by a judge before the marriage is dissolved. Depends on your State. In Indiana there is no waiting period. It's just 60 days and you're divorced. It's also a no fault state so you don't even need a reason.
