The domain of the function is all numbers except 1 and 2. This is because the radical which is 1 and the function is 2. To understand more, go to http://www.personal.kent.edu/~bosikiew/Algebra-handouts/domain.pdf.

Its all numbers more than -1cuz x+1 is under radical and must be positive and not zero!!!
