How much it matters if we don't wet the ball in viscosity experiment of physics

It is one of the physics practical in which the viscosity of a liquid is found by using Stoke's Theorem..and we have to drop ball(sphere) through it from a sufficient height to achieve terminal velocity

Using a dry ball has a negligible effect on the viscosity experiment. The reason is because the different forces acting on the ball, which are weight of the ball, buoyancy of the liquid on the ball and the drag force are insignificantly affected by the nature of the ball being wet or dry.
