Can you get birth control without insurance?

I'm 17 and have been with my bf for over a year. However, my parents are completely against me having sex. Instead of using condoms is there anyway I can get on the pill without using my parents insurance info, doctor, etc.?

You don't need your parent's doctor or insurance information to get birth control. All you have to do is to walk into any Planned Parenthood clinic in your area and ask for contraceptives. They don't need your parent to accompany you for this.

that doesn't really help me much...can i go with another adult or does it have to be my parents?

I think it has to be your parents. but they don't need to know your doc or anything. my sister went there. no cost. just a little info about her, but its just so they know who they're giving it to.
