I have to tell you, I'm truly happy, love my wife, and best friend, of thirty five years, my kids are all doing well, we have five super grand kids, our health is good, we have great friends, a super home, we really don't want for much!!!
It isn't naturally programmed. That's just how America is today. People in third world countries would be overjoyed to have a well with clean water for a week while people here can't be content with four different game systems and a mansion.
Are you saying you've never been truly happy? Sometimes people are very happy a lot of the time. Even people who are homeless can be happy. Some people who live in masons are miserable. It's all about appreciating what you have, and having a positive outlook on life. If you're always focusing on the negative, of course you're not going to be truly happy, not matter what happens to you.
