I'm dieting right now and my favorite snack food is chips, which is obviously bad for you. What's a healthier thing like that?

Lays light original potato chips- 70 calories per ounce
Special K cracker chips - 104 calories per ounce
Fat free sour cream Pringles - 70 calories per ounce

These are the chips that I eat just make sure you measure out your portions so you don't over do it. I have found that half an ounce of the Lays goes perfect with a sandwich for lunch and only adds about 35 calories to my meal. I am also a chip lover and have lost 50 lbs with the help of these chips.

Vegetable thins = 16 crackers are 90 calories. But I only try to have one bowl of chips a day, because 250-300 is a lot of calories. I used to have like 4 bowls I think. I know, gross, lol.

Just a tip: The secret to success is not so much finding an alternative ... which, BTW are many other options .. the tip is quantity. Having a handful of your favourite snack instead of a whole bag will provide you with a satisfying indulgence. Other alternatives might provide you with less calories or less salt and you may feel you can eat more in quantity, but often will make you feel like your craving is not satisfied.

Other alternatives still can be loaded with salt and calories .. you would still have to factor in quantity.

What I love is butter free popcorn with some kernels flavor shakers on top. It tastes like chips and only has 100 calories for a good sized serving.
