Question about excercise

if I run 1-2 miles daily (more on the 2 miles side), and do about 30 min. of muscle exercise will I still be able to see improvement? that's about all the time I have to exercise.... :/

how many days a week are you exercising? if you can get at least 4 or 5 days in, youd see improvement no matter what...granted you are drinking a gallon of water a day and your diet is clean. remember, any physical goal can be accomplished by having a good diet. changes occur from having equal sleep to diet ratio and exercising without injury. if youre not sleeping, youre eating. and vice versa. do you know those small nutri grain bars? those are awesome for daily energy. eat 1 every 2 hours for sustained energy and that would put a pep in your step along with your regular meals eaten. i did that during wrestling season in high school and i was still making weight. you need the energy to lose weight, too.

If you're trying to lose fat, drink ALOT of water and walk everyday. Stay away from fruits and sugar and try to get some vegetables onto your diet. Eat healthy. If you're trying to build muscle STOP WALKING. The thing is, walking makes you lose WEIGHT, Fat + Muscle. You're trying to lose the fat and keep the muscles. Lift some weights and do some afterburn exercises. If you don't care much about the muscle, go ahead and walk. It's worth a shot.
