Which is better, applying online and in person?

Report as

I always ask people to apply online, but the person who takes it upon themselves to come in personally I will look at more closely and may give a chance even if they don't have all of the qualifications. If they specifically say do not come in then obviously don't.

Which is better applying online or in person. Now a days most places want you to apply online so they don't have to pay the person in the business to take the time to assist you in filling out the application. You won't be losing anything if you do it online.

Applying online is very cold and impersonal. But, if you can do both that would be super. Apply online then apply in person. This will show ambition and interest in the job.

In person. It shows that you are more interested and would be more likely to show up on time for work every day.

Depends on the company. If they make it easier for you to apply online, that is probably their preferred method, so stick to that. If it is a small company, apply in person as a general rule of thumb.
