How are free-throw basketball games at amusement parks rigged?
My dad paid five dollars for me to shoot two basketballs on a free-throw game. He was reluctant to do it because "they're all rigged," but he knew that I'd pay him back. The first one banked off the backboard, and the second shot rimmed in. I just won two basketballs for five dollars, and my dad just laughed disbelievingly. He said that the runs only give you about an inch of room, but it sure looked like it was normal. So how are those games rigged? By the way, I earned a VCU ball and a Virginia Tech ball. Thanks!
