I'm very confused about this?

I'm going to start from the beginning. My best friend has a cousin that she kept trying to get me to meet. Her entire family wanted me to meet him. he is about 5 months younger than me. I finally met him at a fish fry for a school I'm going to go to. we had a short conversation about ice. lol (I had to serve the drinks there) My friends sister (who I am also friends with) kept smiling at us. he had prank texted me a while back (he got my # from my friend). he texted me that night and started talking about how fun the fish fry was. we have been texting for the past 3-4 months. I finally got the nerve to ask him if he liked me. his cousins would text us asking us this. he would always make jokes about how his family calls me his girlfriend and all this other stuff. so i asked him and he said yes. I agreed. we are, as he calls it, low level daters because my parents won't let me date. he always texts me but a couple months before he met me he broke up with his old girlfriend. he always brings her up. saying stuff like "____ sat by me in class." or "____ said she has a crush on me again." and "____ asked me to come to her party and has been messaging me on Facebook." it really annoys me because I'm not jealous and I have no problem with his ex. I don't know what to do or think about this. thanks :)

He's a Pod - beware. Being of an alien race, he has no sense of self-confidence or humanity. Avoid any personal contact with him or the other Pods he calls 'Family'.

Well I guess you won't have to worry about him keeping secrets. Just throw him a curve ball, say " do you like her?" obviously he's not going to quit talking about her so make "her" be the topic of the conversation. Ahhh... The silly games.
