My first period started on the 25th of last month and has been reoccurring. I have Anemia and Iron deficiency. Should I be worried?

My period started on the 25th of last month, and has kinda been on and off. It would be going for about a week, stop for, like, 3-4 days, then reoccur. It's the 27th now, and just started again, I think. My period started off as brown and dark, with it changing to red sometimes, to light brown, then back to dark brown again. It started again today, right when I was about to check my weight (I gained about 7-8lbs this Summer :c ) then saw that I had my period again. I'm going to be 15 in just under a month, and no, I'm not pregnant (not sexually active). Anyhow, are there any things I should be concerned about? I do have iron deficiency and possibly anemia as well, so I'd guess that it affects the period.

Nope, I have anemia too and iron deficiency. I just had 2 periods in the last 4 weeks :/ and lately I've been spotting ALOT more than I used too. I need to start taking Iron. Take my advice, just ask your doctor, you don't have to go in, just call maybe, and ask how much iron you should be taking. My mom has iron deficiency too and she would take her iron pills, but as she hit menopause she lost ALOT of blood, and when she told her doctor how much she was taking, apparently she needed to take 20 times more! Its amazing how much iron we need to take, you would have never guessed. But I suggest you start taking iron NOW. every morning, do it. Both you and I are in the same position, we have to give our bodies iron now or it'll screw us up later in life. do it before its too late, you don't want to lose a lot of blood when you're older and have to get a blood transplant. it happened to my mom :( she was so lucky she went to the doctors, when they checked her hemoglobin it was so low her heart could have stopped in her sleep. Get checked out by your doctor!

OH Also, I've discovered this new rice-like food called QUINOA!!! They're very small grains, cooks just like rice, I prefer mine cold. But once its cooked (15 minutes steamed) add some lemon juice, chopped up cilantro. its GREAT, and very very high in iron. So eat up!!! I've been eating so much and noticed i'm not as tired as usual.

You need to visit a reproductive health doctor since this inconsistency in your periods is not a normal thing. In the meantime, observe personal hygiene, eat fruits and vegetables that will increase your blood levels.
