Absolutely...I have felt crappy all "summer" because it has rained every day and the temps are way below normal....heck,we still haven't taken or annual Memorial Day river trip!....also,the sun does provide us with vitamin D and keeps us healthy in moderation.I am now starting to understand all that depressing grunge music from Seattle, now.

LivingLifeInPeace is absolutely correct. There really is a disorder that people in dreary weather climates can develop. Seasonal Affective Disorder affects many people who live in climates where parts of the year are damp, cold, rainy, snowy, etc. It is rare to see someone in a warm, sunny climate develop SAD. There is a 9.7% SAD rate in NY compared to 1.4% in Florida. It normally starts in fall as the weather cools down and triggers depression up until summer of the next year. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/seasonal-affective-disorder/DS00195
