How Do You Release Your Emotions? (help please)
I have GAD and I have a lot of trouble of talking about my emotions so I go to counseling every 1-2 weeks for it. We recently moved to an apartment down the street so I haven't gone to counseling in about three weeks. I've been feeling cranky this morning and on top of that, my cat was really misbehaving; she was jumping onto the counters, running around, and biting and scratching. So that got me so mad to the point where I grabbed her and hit her against the counter. For me, I never got so angry that I hurt someone before, so this really scared to where I started crying all morning.
I let out sadness and anxiety by writing and drawing, but idk what to do for anger. I really don't want to hurt anyone else again and I'm scared that I probably will. :(
