I lost 10 lbs a month for most of this year by not eating any, any; beef, pork, fried, greasy, creamy, cheesy, dairy, fatty. Veggie burger on wheat bread w/ veggie cheddar cheese slice and spinach leaves. That's breakfast. Chicken and rice with vegetables. Make it yourself. The restaurant and pre-made meals have tons of fat that you don't need. At least 4-5 small healthy meals a day. Instead of 3 big meals. Fruit and veggies all day long. Remember: Your mind and stomach can be in 3 different modes: Hungry, Not Hungry, & Full. By eating 5 small no fat meals a day, you are never hungry and never full!!!! Worked for me with no exercise. I'm 50.
Don't call yourself ugly. That doesn't help anything, and it isn't true anyway. Be positive, and be mindful of what you eat (but don't over-obsess either). You've already received good advice here. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. :)
