Why is my iPod loosing charge so quickly?

It may just be because it's getting old, I've had the same iPod for three years and it tends to lose charge every other day or so. If it is losing charge every couple hours it may be worth taking it into the Apple store and seeing what they can do, if anything.

Because you either use it while its charging or you charge it too much when its like half way dead or something...

The iPod touch battery life is notoriously horrible. It also depends on what you are doing on it. Watching videos and playing games eats the battery much faster than just listening to music.

If you have an iPod touch it's because wifi is always trying to connect so if you are not using wifi on your iPod touch then go to settings and turn wifi off. It will save a lot of battery.

Adjust ur brightness, turn off location services, and kill background apps
That'll make a difference

The battery is probably getting old. As with all batteries, the more cycles (when a battery drains and is recharged) a battery goes through, it's charge get's less and less.
