normally a reaction probably to the meds if he has started to scratch after you got the meds then he could be reacting to the meds and i would take it back to the store and say that your dog is scratching after you give him the meds and see if theres anything he can take that wont cause him to scratch
It could be many things. A skin infection, Rash, Mange, Allergies or as simple as dry skin or and irritation to something. Best thing to do if you are worried about a pet is to take them to the vet. If the scratching continues I'd say take him to the vet, better safe than sorry. Good luck :)
well sometimes it could just be because he's itchy, but another reasons dog scratch is that he could have a skin issue or disease, but unless he starts losing hair or something like that I wouldn't worry about it too much.
My dog used to scratch all the time, she has a skin condition thats a lot like sensitive skin. I was able to treat and almost reverse this by using a dog shampoo that contains oatmeal & is for senestitive skin. I also used a spray that was for scratching/sensitive skin, & this helped a ton! (Make sure you spray the dogs skin not fur, spray & then rub into the skin) Also Make sure your dog is brushed daily & doesn't have any knots or mats in its hair. Today I still use an oatmeal shampoo when bathing and I spray only when needed & when I notice her scratching more often. My dog is a ton better today and barley gets flareups. I'd say after about a month and half of this treatment she got 95% better ! good luck. hope this helps!
