What does it mean when a pregnant cats nipple goes from pink to white..?

My pregnant cat is due in about a weeks time. Since she started 'pinking' in the beginning of her pregnancy she has constantly had very pink prominent nipples, however in the last 24hrs one (and only one) of her nipples has turned white.. Is there something wrong?

It is not normal for a cat's teat to turn white when she is about to deliver. However, this could indicate the presence of milk in the teat and would not worry you much, unless the teat seems to be swollen or painful. Make sure to keep checking on the cat, in case it gets worse to contact a vet for checkup.

There doesnt seem to be any milk present and its only in the one teat..
It looks like the kind of white you see when theres no blood flow to the area.. Im worried that it will drop off!
