thank you for answering me anyway.. I'm not trying to judge anyone for their appearance. I'm Asian and studying English and American culture. I'm just wondering why is this so difficult to say who's from where for Americans.
thank you :)

I think she is Israeli !

If you are asking about Mayim Bialik, she is of Eastern European descent. Jim Parsons is American (and if his last name is an indicator he may be of British descent). As for the characters they portray....that can be selected at the whim of the writers, so that's a moot point. Fyi, "Viking" is not a race.
And why is it so important to know who's from where?

Bialik was born in San Diego, California, the daughter of Barry Bialik and Beverly (Winkelman).

Her grandparents emigrated from Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary in the late 1930s.

Hayim Nahman Bialik, Israel's national poet, was Mayim Bialik's great-great-grandfather's uncle. Bialik was raised in Reform Judaism. Her given name means "water" in Hebrew.
