Will colleges accept you for a different major than what you applied for?

like if i applied for nursing, can they say i can attend the college if i change my major

it depends, if your changing it and staying within that universities school for a program. before you get to school for instance, if you were an accounting major and wanted to change to economics it shouldn't be a big deal because your still staying in te school of business. however, if you got accepted as a communications major and then wanted to change to economics you could have a problem because your changing branches of schools in your university get it ? but once your there, you should be able to change your major there's just different requirements.
