What is one way to get a hurtful memorie off your mind?

I was thinking back in 5th grade they laughed at me because of how I danced and looked

Remind yourself that they are only children. Or even just laugh the whole thing off anyway. (Not everyone can dance either.) Everyone will have something embarrassing happen to them at some point in their life. It's up to you to try to let it go or let it torment you for the rest of your life. It has nothing to do with who you are (as a person), but only something that has happened to you.
Most likely, time will pass and nobody else will even remember it. If you still can't get it off your mind, then take charge of it. Take dance lessons to become more skilled. Maybe it will help with your self-esteem a bit (in dancing), BUT always remember that is all in fun.
Now, when you said "looked", I don't know if you meant looked as in dancing or just looked in general. If you meant in general, then you need to remember that every person is beautiful. Only some people are lucky enough to be able to see your beauty when others can't. :)
Enjoy your life and don't let others bring you down because your opinion of yourself is the one that matters the most.
P. S. Cute piggy pic. :)

Everyone has some memories like that. You aren't alone. You could talk about it to someone you trust. You have already talked to us. That's good!
If you believe in God tell Him about it. Pray that it will be removed or
lessened. I will pray for you.

Don't worry about what they think. All that matters is what you think of yourself.
I'm going to give you a small lesson I learned in psychology.
"We, as humans, are quick to judge any one person for being slightly different. We may not notice it but we always seem to do this. Some use this judgement to single out people as a sort of self defense mechanism because, in a way, they themselves are afraid of being judged the same way for something they do or aren't good at."- Pearson Education's Intro to Psychology, 1998.
What you can take from this is that you know how you felt that day and you know how you wished you would've been treated. The next time you are quick to judge someone, if you ever happen to that is, think of how you wished you were treated and try to give that person the chance you never had... be the difference.
