Varsity soccer help

I went from a starter for our soccer team last year to getting my minutes cut short drastically Any ideas to fix this, practice, running, drills?

definitely do some long distance running and sprints. And anything to improve your foot work would definitely help ( get some small cones, or objects to lay in a line with about a yard in between them, then you can work with your sharp turns and ball control). Also you should practice kicking the ball to specific places in the goal. Try getting the ball only into the four corners at first ( easier to aim there). It also would help if you had someone to practice with, that way you can play a two man game and both of you can improve your skills on each other. Also remember to have team spirit, no coach wants a solo act on the team.

Work on all the technical and basic stuff. Then start to work on distance running and sprints to improve conditioning and work on passes and shooting. You should work curving the shots too.
