If God is against adultery why did He have a child with a married woman?

Report as

Mary wasn't married and he didn't have sex with her. It's a little more complicated than a rape baby. She was still a virgin after Jesus was born. That implies that he never actually had intercourse with her. It's more like she was the vessel for a Godly born messiah.

Then that means she was "rAped"...biblically speaking she would have had to marry God/Jesus.

They were betrothed. In Jewish tradition the wedding is separated into two parts: the betrothal (eyrusin) and the sanctification (kidushin). In modern times the two are done back to back, but in ancient times they were separate events, sometimes by months. The betrothal of Mary and Joseph meant they were married for all purposes, except they were not allowed yet to have sex. Evidently she did have sex with someone, because she got knocked up. I don't know who Mary f$*#ed and no one else does either, but whether it was Panthera or someone else, it wasn't God. God doesn't go around impregnating women. It's blasphemy to suggest that.

Waycup, according to Toledot Yeshu, Mary was in fact raped.

Not raaped, more like artificial insemination.

I don't care if the pope calls it rape! I know what rape IS and THAT'S not it!
Gods spirit impregnated her. He can do anything and not with SEX!

It is impossible for God to sin, therefor if your perceive that The LORD has done so, then it is YOU who commit the sin of blasphemy. If you don't know this it's because you don't know God. Those of us who know Him know better, and would never think of this sort of thing.

Allah (God) says :

( 91 ) Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].

( 92 ) [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. Quran (23:91-92)

He didn't. Mary was not married. Maybe you should actually read what you're trying so hard to put down? Haha, just a thought.

You managed to be clever and blasphemous at the same time! If you read the Bible for the details of this miracle virgin birth, you will see that there was no adultery involved.

You know that adultery is a sin, but don't you know that it is impossible for the most high God to commit sin?

When the Holy Spirit performed the miraculous conception in Mary, the mother of our Lord, Christ Jesus, it was not done so by the same means which Adam and Eve multiplied. Not to mention Mary was not even married to Joseph!

Don't you know these things?

As used in the Bible, adultery refers to voluntary sexual relations by a married person with an individual other than one's mate or in the time that the Mosaic Law was in effect , such an intercourse by any man with a married or betrothed woman. That God did not have sexual relations with Mary is brought out in Luke 1:35 where God's angel tells her, "Holy spirit will come upon you... for that reason what is born will be called holy, God's Son." Through the scriptures holy spirit is is not a person but God's active force by which he accomplishes his purposes. This same spirit was used to bring the first man Adam to life in Genesis 7:1. Just as God did not have sex with Adam's recently created body in order to bring forth life, he did not need to have some form of sexual union with Mary to cause her to become pregnant.

How is the procreation of ones own self considered to be adultery. For god so loved the world he gave his only -begotten- son. If you understood god and the godhead a little better you wouldn't ask such questions.

Are you trying to be funny? She wasn't married and was a virgin. It was immaculate conception, no intercourse involved. Adam came from the ground and Eve came from Adam's rib. These are all examples of God's infinite power.
